So I just got prescribed a prescription for Ativan 1 mg three times a week. I know it’s a really low dose but for some reason, I feel it way more than I’ve ever felt Xanax and I feel so much more relaxation also compared to Xanax and Ativan doesn’t leave me feeling all depressed and gloomy also unlike Xanax. I currently have a very small tolerance because I’ve been off benzos for a little over a year prior to me getting off of benzos. I had a really bad Xanax habit taking 20mg a day for about three weeks before I decided, I needed help and went to get detox not to mention. I had a really nasty seizure also prior to detox. So anyways, back when I was taking Xanax like I said it always left me feeling super depressed, but at least not anxious but I wouldn’t say in a good way. Now with Ativan I’ve noticed so much more relaxation and the effects are a lot more pronounced than I had noticed with Xanax even though it’s only 1 mg I can lay down and kind of just melt into my bed. So just kind of curious as to what can cause a weaker benzo be so much more pronounced at least for me it is. Also, really quick I want to mention I have been taking it sublingually. If anyone has some information for me or if they’re even is an answer I would love to know thanks!!!
