Is it due to a particular methabolism weirdness of Diazepam itself?
The thing that I have a hard time underestanding is that, while is claimed everywhere that Diazepam duration of effects is only 6hs, if the half life is 2 days it means that, by the 24hs mark, you should still be methabolizing more than half of your dose.
So, how is it possible that the duration of effects would be so short when you have plenty of it in your blood for at least 24hs and Diazepam has also active methabolites like Temazepam ?
