The gabaergic targets the negative bias and anxiety, while whatever raises dopamine levels lets to enjoy more whatever they are not able to enjoy regardless of the poor situations they might going through life...

Pretty sure that aggressive treatment is risky and no doc nor DEA would consider it, but Im pretty sure it would be effective... The lack of serotonin theory only helps a subset of people with SSRIs and, even then, arguably to a mild to negligible impact, since other lifestyle changes could be contributing more to their conditions, plus they're caring for themselves and hoping for a med that helps.

But lack of dopamine with an excesive negative bias and inapropriate fight or flight mode is not being even proposed as an hyphotesis afaik
