So, for the first time since I've tried Xanax over 10 years ago, I blacked out.

I've been prescribed benzos for about 5 years now. Klonopin now Xanax. I've never really taken more than 1 mg at a time and no more than 2-3 times a week.

I quit drinking back last September. Started taking xans a little more frequently. .5 would help with panic/anxiety until it didn't... So I took a tolerance break for just over a month. Last month I've taken it probably 4-5 times total. Now new years comes a long. I've struggled with the holidays and not drinking, so I would take a little xans at gatherings.

I decided to have a little too much fun on New Years Eve. Normally I wouldn't take more than .5 during the day, but since it was new years I said fuck it and popped a 1 mg. Was chillin with that for a couple hours. Went back home and I think I took another 1mg (this is where my memory started to fade) and then at some point I took 2mg. I know once new years hit, I took another 1 mg and then decided to take a drive and see if there were any fireworks. I was gone for about an hour and I only remember bits and pieces of that drive. Get home and texted and hit up girls that I normally wouldn't. It was like I was drunk. I probably took around 6-7 mg throughout the day.

So moral of the story is, fuck taking that much Xanax and anything over 1mg makes you stupid. And if you take a lot of it, you might as well just get drunk.
