I had been on Klonopin for awhile. I was prescribed 6mg a day and only taking 4mg and even some days less.
The pharmacy I was getting my script at ran out of Teva. I cannot take Aurobindo or Advagen which every pharmacy has.
I told my Dr and he put me on Xanax until another brand I can tolerate becomes available. I don’t care if it’s Teva, Solco or Accord. I just can’t take those two.
These things are great but a nightmare at the same time because of how short they last. I have a few klonopin saved up for emergencies and was thinking about using those so my tolerance doesn’t get high again as I worked really hard to get it down but it’s damn near impossible with Xanax as it only lasts like 3 hours for me
Luckily I see him in 5 weeks and need to do some research. There has to be a pharmacy that carries something other than those two brands. I’ve never had problems with any generic all the years I’ve been on it but these two I do.
Xanax for me is not good for daily use like Klonopin is. It works so well so fast but it also seems like when I finally get the relief from it it’s gone already. I love the effects of it but despise how short lived it is.
