I'll try to keep it short but wondering if anyone has sleep issues after using Valium? Basically, was prescribed 5mg valium probably 9'ish months ago and it worked great for a while until the tolerance problem reared its ugly head. In the end I was taking 10mg (not much I know) to do what 2.5mg did at the start. I cut back and thesedays I'm taking 5 or 7.5mg every 10 days/2 weeks ( because its nice to be truly relaxed occasionally!). The night I take it, I sleep great...fall asleep quick, stay asleep and don't wake until my alarm goes off in the morning. But for like 3 or 4 nights after that, it's a bit shit...fall asleep after an hour or so but always wake between 3 & 4 and can't get back to sleep...which I find odd as I though valium is supposed to be one of the longer lasting benzos? Wouldn't it still be in my system 2 or 3 nights after taking it?? I'm guessing that's just tolerance for ya? I'm starting to think I should throw them in the bin....
