Hi guys,

In January after a stroke left me with crippling anxiety I was prescribed 2.5mg Ativan to take HALF a tablet daily as needed. I need to go re fill my script but my doctor left the practice and moved interstate so I have to see someone else (I have been going to this medical practice for 20 years though). I am currently on a very low dose of an SSRI but it doesn’t help, I have tried literally dozens of anti depressants and nothing has ever helped me. When I go to get my script re filled if I ask to try another anti depressant will that help or hurt my request for a new script of Ativan? I don’t really know how to approach it. I have had depression for many years that no medication has helped but the Ativan does help the anxiety I now suffer after nearly dying from the stroke & ending up with chronic debilitating migraines and vertigo.
