Dr prescriped 0.25mg xanax in case of huge panic attacks. Spent tought week but it was bareable until a huge panic attacks I had 4 days ago. Went to the ER, and he told me to take xanax in case it happens again.

Had one yesterday so popped a pill.

And today was the worst day I’ve had in a while. Like anxiety x 2, covered in a big depressive state. Couldn’t find strengh for nothing. Didn’t shower, didn’t brush teeth, barely ate, and horrible thoughts all day long. Underlaying panic etc. So I took another one, went to sleep for 2-3 hours and here i am typing this. And while waking up I was thinking…

What was so different between yesterday and today ? Well, I took xanax. I know the dose is ridiculous but i’ve been off lexomil for the past 4 years and didn’t take any benzos in between, just my usual treatment, seroquel 100mg and paroxetine 40mg. (They doubled the doses 4 months ago)

So I was wondering. Does anyone noticed the same horrible anxiety/depression symptoms the day after ?

I’ll see how it goes tomorrow but now i kinda regret taking another one 3 hours ago
