What is the hardest benzo to taper off of or come off of ?
Post Body

What do you guys think the hardest benzo to come off is. I have a different opinion probably more than most or the standard. I think Xanax is the hardest to come off due to short duration and half life and rapid tolerance increase. I think Klonopin is the easiest to taper off of. I know everyone thinks Valium is but Klonopin has a long half life but not too long. I’ve tapered off 6mg of Xanax and Klonopin after years of daily use. Xanax once and Klonopin 3-4 times. Xanax was the roughest. Klonopin I felt was easier cause it has a long enough half life to where you can reduce the dose and not have to stay on it super long to level out because of the super long half life. The one time I tapered off klonopin I tried switching over to Valium and I felt worse longer because of how long half life is. To me Xanax is the hardest and Klonopin is the easiest. Valium is also easier as it’s the gold standard but the half life makes it drag on forever it feels like. Can’t speak for Ativan I never liked it or tapered but assume it would be a bit harder due to shorter half life

What do you guys think ? No RCs included because those are super potent and much harder to come off of. I’m talking about normal prescription benzos commonly prescribed
