Xanax are the worst of them all... Truth or myth?

As far as I know, all benzos share the same MOA and, therefore, should be equally destructive in terms of withdrawal / addiction than the rest of the drug class.

Then, why is it a popular belief (true or not) that Xanax is the most dangerous benzo in existence and why are so many doctors wary to prescribe it compared to prescribing Clonazepam, for example?
