Long, long story short…but this year, I lost my elderly cat, my younger sister, my partner, and my uncle. I was diagnosed with OCD in fall of 2022 and most recently, PTSD (and I think I’m starting to develop a slight agoraphobia.) I have been given a ridiculous amount of medication this year, but I’m not interested in any of them except benzos. My prescriber, who I see at 8am tomorrow morning, gave me 3 months of 15, .25mg Xanax (picked up the last script on the 10th) after saying, “listen I know I’m not supposed to ask but can I please have Xanax? I need peace. I need sleep. I’m not drug seeking.”

She put me on Prozac and Remeron, and gave me the PRN Xanax.

I have been hoarding them but also been taking my moms .25mg Klonopin and my late-sisters 1mg Ativan…all as needed (which doc doesn’t know.)

I tried the Prozac and way too many side effects (I made a list to talk to her about.) How can I ensure I leave with a fresh script for benzos tomorrow?
