Post Body

a little over a week ago i posted about how i've tried nearly every benzo prescribed in my country for rem behavior disorder and was going to try either flualp, bromaz, or clam next. and ofc i got a lot of warnings against clam, so i wanted to give a full update. for the first time in almost 5 years im not scared of going to sleep because of waking up with odd injuries or having broken things around me in my sleep or insanely vivid and semi lucid dreams about dying in violent ways. i just woke up from 8hrs of sleep where i had pretty forgettable yet normal dream about opossums. nothing around me had been thrown across the room. i didnt wake myself up yelling. i dont have any odd injuries. i cant even put into words how much of a relief this is, especially when the only medication that briefly worked other than clam would totally suppress my rem sleep and only last for about 4-5 hrs before the problem starts again. i've been taking 1-1.5mg right before going to sleep for the past 5 days and the only downside is im a bit drowsy when i wake up at first, but that fades pretty quickly, and id take that any day over pulling out my teeth with tweezers while im asleep and having dreams where i can physically feel myself being blown up in a gas leak. i still wouldn't recommend clonaz for recreational use or any use where you plan on staying awake, but after countless injuries and horrific dreams over the past 5 years i feel like i could cry over finally getting a good nights sleep.
