I know this sounds like a stupid idea, and it may be but hear me out. Opiates may not alleviate my physical withdrawal symptoms, but the fact that my anxiety comes back off them will mean I will be scared of taking any benzo while I am on any dose of opiates due to the fear of literally dying.

As someone who does not have the means or resources to properly taper, how stupid is this really? My plan is to take 2.5mg of oxycodone every night. This way I wont get high, but will still be scared to take a benzo.

Edit: Im taking 0.5mg-0.75mg of alprazolam every 2 days. Ive tapered successfully up to here. But I cant kick it completely.
