How much Ambien CR is safe to take?

I have a bottle of Zolpidem XR 12.5mg pills, and I only take them as needed. But the last 2 nights I haven't slept at all... So I'm needing to get into my stash and sleep for 10-12 hours. Would 25mg be okay? I also have Valium in my system but haven't taken it since 7PM EST yesterday. (30mg)
