which benzo suppresses rem sleep best?

Post Body

i have rem behavior disorder and have broken windows, taken out one of my teeth, and frequently throw things in my sleep. it is diagnosed so im preferably hoping for advice who's taken benzos for the same reason or have had really good rem sleep suppression on a certain benzo. i've tried ativan, klonopin, xanax, temazepam, triazolam, and estazolam. ativan, klonopin, xanax, and estazolam didn't help at all. temazepam helped but it made me lose feeling in my legs and my sense of taste within 6 days of starting it. triazolam worked for 3 months, but even after doubling the dose it's just stopped working. i took etizolam for 2 years, and during that time frame didnt have any occurrences of it, but i lost access to etizolam almost 2 years ago. my psychiatrist and i are really at a loss on what to do next as i've also tried most z drugs and other meds typically used to treat rbd.

has anyone had success with a certain benzo treating rbd? or has anyone been on clonazolam, flualprazolam, or bromazolam long enough to get a gauge on how it effects your rem sleep? all 3 of those are an option for me right now, and im leaning towards c-lam as im less prone to delusions of sobriety on c-lam than flualp or even triazolam. my rbd was barely noticeable back when i took flualp and c lam so i dont know if it helped at all. i haven't tried bromaz to know, but ive heard it's kinda a shit benzo compared to others available. any opinions or stories would be extremely helpful as im unable to find much more research. triazolam worked because of a specific side effect- i know molecularly speaking its more similar to etizolam than most other prescribed benzos. im also wondering if anyone has had brotizolam successfully compounded in the us, as it seems thienodiazepines generally agree better with me and help more. i do not do well with classic benzos, they make me lethargic and depressive due to more reduction in serotonin vs triazolobenzodiazapines, so i'd prefer recommendations of other tbzds or ideally thienotriazolodiazepines that are legally able to be compounded in the us.
