If someone takes klonopin everyday then wants to taper off withdrawals are inevitable? Like there’s no way to avoid the hell waiting for you? I’m skeptical because before getting on a biologic there was nothing but fear mongering all over the place and when I finally caved in it actually did help me and I had no problems at all. The internet is full of fear mongering and the worst of worst nightmare cases. Apparently this is the worst drug ever second only to opiates. But I’ve had anxiety holding me back for a long long time.
I’ve been on antidepressants and not only did it not help I’ve wasted 4 valuable years of my life in good faith on various antidepressants. I’m at a point where I’m willing to get addicted and go through hell if this is what it really takes. You can’t even do exposure therapy or somatic therapy if you’re wasting time in avoidant coping mechanisms because of this anxiety. Fear itself is literally wrecking every area of my life.
And here I am, afraid that if I do this, I’ll end up with dementia as an elderly man, will have irreversible damage to my body and have seizures if I ever want to get off of them that can kill me. Oh and did I mention I’ll become addicted? What is accurate? What is true? Is this even a solution or am I just a weak person to even need a medication like this?
