Only ever tried a 500ug pill of Xanax before and enjoyed it. But after a long day of work, argument and a lack of will to live I decided to go all in dosing 5mg Xanax and 280mg diazepam. I was feeling pretty fine with a little slurred speech laying on my friends bed while he was showering. Next thing I remember is being on an ambulance and being told I was lucky to be alive after a lethal dose. And then sleeping for about 30 hours in a hospital bed. Happy to still be living in this world but was wondering if any fellow Redditors if had the knowledge to know if this such high dose would have a permanent effect on my brain. Thanks for reading.

Edit : forgot to mention I had a whole 250ml bottle of dxm robitussin on the way home aswell, not sure if that makes the permanent brain damage more likely.
