can i oscillate between Alprazolam and Gabapentin to void withdrawals/rebound anxiety?

i've been using 0.25-0.5 alprazolam once a week and that seems fine. tried twice a week but got some minor rebound anxiety, however if i add gabapentin in low doses once a week would that work? one is gaba-a and the other gaba-b so no cross tolerance atleast. i use them for work.
