I've read from many other people that if they suddenly quit or taper off benzos, they often have a lot of eye issues, including dryness, blurred vision, increased floaters, visual snow, fatigue/pain, etc. I have some of those; computer work of course worsens them. But lately I've noticed that in my peripheral vision, there is a lag of objects passing by. It's not quite like LSD or anything, no real trail of an object, it just looks like the object right when it's passing by the side of my vision, stays there for a split second longer. Maybe 100-200 milliseconds, but's it's noticeable. Front field of view seems fine. I'm 50% tapered off Ativan so I'm wondering if this delayed perception is going to be temporary or permanent. Some people that have a bad withdrawal still have vision issues even 2 years out. At my level right now it's just annoying, nothing serious, but I do have an optometrist appt. tomorrow just to rule out glaucoma or some other real issue. Maybe I'm lucky that this is basically my ONLY issue so far tapering...
Anyone else had vision issues including trails, delayed perceptions, afterimages. And if yes, how long did they last, did they get worse or better at what dosage.
