Increased depression after Xanax

I have been taking Xanax as needed when I travel because I developed a fear of flying when I got panic disorder. I am starting to realise that it causes me terrible depression the next day - and I'm only taking the lowest dose, 250mcgs. It doesn't happen every single time, depends what's going on in my life to a certain degree, but I already have depression, anxiety and ADHD and I've been noticing the depression is far worse the day after I take it now. Like today I've travelled to a new city for a holiday and I should be feeling better but I'm feeling like staying home and crying. Is this really common?
