I dont get the appeal for recreational xanax use.

My friend has a xanax prescription and offered me 1.5mg so I took it and let it dissolve under my tongue. About 35 minutes later I felt a little bit sleepy and slightly disoriented. I slept for a bit and woke up and I felt like shit. I was tired all day and I was extremely lazy. I didn't enjoy it at all. I don't have anxiety and I was told it would make me feel extremely relaxed even if I don't have anxiety. Xanax is shit.
