All the rules in this subreddit are perfect and usually similar for a working subreddit not to get banned; however, as a moderator myself In a different subreddit I can tell when a rule needs to be revised.

For Instance The Revisal of Rule #1:

Specifically speaking on the rule of price discussion under this rule. If someone is LEGALLY Prescribed a benzodiazepine from a medical professional, they should be allowed to ask questions such as "why is the price of my medication so high or so low any help would be appreciative." obviously without giving location or pharmacy specifics.

These kind of price discussion talks of someone that once again is LEGALLY prescribed, allows the poster to help the user let's say that is struggling financially and needs help to obtain a possible lower cost to their medication. There's alternatives such as GoodRx, etc. This is helpful information that can aid a medically prescribed patient useful tools to reduce the cost of their prescriptions. How is this a rule in the first place? This subreddit is to help users not retain assistance.

So I ask of you moderators of the benzodiazepine subreddit to revise this part of the rule #1 regarding price discussion with only LEGALLY prescribed patients.

Revise it where price discussion is not allowed to be tolerated in a way to for someone to private message and search for illicit transactions that people aren't prescribed to try and buy. Or someone asking " how much did you pay for your illicit medications."

Revise in a way where it claims NO LOCATION SHARING OR PHARMACY SHARING, but legally prescribed patients can ask questions regarding the cost of their prescriptions and why they are high/low without giving out location or pharmacy location.

So on the rather, talks of how to lower your cost and asking why prices are high should not result in a ban of a user which I was almost banned for for asking a question of why one of my medications which is prescribed by a medical professional is so high compared to the others.

The response and comments I got from users on the subreddit were helpful and gave me information to establish a reason why it was so high. Before that post was deleted and almost got banned.

Someone asking for the price of their medication to buy it off of them should be prohibited. Sourcing which already is prohibited, and illegal street price asking costs should be prohibited. Not prices of asking why my legally prescribed medications are so high without giving any form of my pharmacy or location information.

I've been in this subreddit for I believe 5 years. Was asked to be a moderator once which I declined. And today almost got banned for asking why one of Medicatioms prescribed by a doctor is so high compared to the rest.

I am a moderator in a different subreddit and I know from experience what is right and what is wrong in regards to the rules wise and what needs revisions. I will not list which subreddit I'm a moderator in as you can do the research yourself. So I do have an understanding of how rules can be written.

Moderators please revise rule number one about pricing information for legit medical patients on benzodiazepines. It can help them lower the cost, give the reasons why they are expensive, etc.

You can even do a temporary trial to rewrite the rule #1 pricing discussion just to see how it works out. If it doesn't work out, simply revise it back to its original form. It's almost like a business using a risk/benefit analysis.
