(More of a discussion) so last week I went to my Pyschatrist everything normal right she wrote my script I spoke to the mental health counselor, doing my due diligence of course and come to find out my pharmacy is on back order for lorazepam. So this is a major issue with people with panic, how do doctors not expect us to have a back up plan ? We are stuck with no script at the time calling other pharmacyās to see if they have it(luckily the one down the road did) but they donāt have my insurance and everything so I had to go through all that, so letās say Iām someone with no back up plan dude Iām panicking I know itās not anyoneās fault that the medication is out but what am I supposed to do at that point I was already feeling it because I normally take my first taper dose at like noon and this was taking place at like 3 pm and as some of you may know it gets harder to think clearly even you feel that pain in your head. Thankfully I got it done without even using my back up options but imagine I didnāt have any I guess thatās why I didnāt totally freak out, bc I knew I had some either way but I wanna go by what Iām told, if I didnāt have any Iād be full out panicking, for example I donāt know if anyone can relate I carry my dose for the day in my back pack, one day I forgot my backpack I didnāt have any on me and I had a pretty bad panic attack where I had to pull over. The other day I went 12 hours without it but I had them on me I knew they were there so itās like weird to me. Thatās why I always say have a back up because if shit goes wrong your at the systems mercy hospital It is no matter what . I just donāt understand I just checked to see this morning about the Loraz shortage and said itās in stock no issue. But that kinds pissed me off what if I had no other options just fuck me then ?
