My new kitten was doing great but now he’s acting different

I brought home an 18 week/4 month old bengal on 9/9. From day one he did great eating, drinking, and using the litter box. The past 12-24ish hours or so (I know that’s not a lot) I’ve been noticing some slight differences in him. He’s still eating and playing, but he’s not scarfing down his food like he used to. He’ll eat a bit and then go back to it until it’s eventually finished. He usually always poops at night time after his last meal and there was no poop in his litter box last night and nothing so far this morning. I have seen him use it to pee last night and this morning. He usually perks up right that 3-4am hour and runs around and plays but I didn’t notice him doing that last night or the night before (unless I was sleeping too heavy to notice). I have a lot of anxiety as it is and I don’t know if these changes are normal for a cat thats acclimating to it’s new home or if there is something wrong. I kept him in my room for 4 days and he seemed like he was doing great so when I’m home in my apartment I’ve been letting him roam around and he’s had fun playing and finding new spots to nap in. Anytime I leave the house though he goes back in my closed room with everything he needs. I’m wondering if I let him out too soon though and I plan on just keeping him in my room until at least he goes to the bathroom again. He has his first vet appointment Monday but I was hoping to get some peace of mind before then. Thank you!
