Retained Deciduous Teeth

Post Body

Hi, my partner and I just noticed this. Our Bengal, Spork, just turned 5 months old. It seems that he is developing retained deciduous teeth on both sides, but kittens still have the opportunity to lose their baby teeth up to 6 months old? We called our vet and they said sometimes it happens where both teeth are out, but by 7 months the baby teeth should have fallen out and if not, then we would have him get surgery. He isn’t experiencing any troubles eating/chewing on things. Has anyone experienced this? I’m scared after doing research and I don’t want him to be in any pain/cause any further dental issues. Also if surgery is the only route, how do we go about that to ensure our baby is safe? I know bengals don’t do well being put under and ketamine is a HUGE no.
