So it's been just over a week since we got the news that our sweet 1 year old girl, Misty, has severe HCM. I can't really believe that she was in congestive heart failure last week, because she's been her usual self. She's been chasing bugs in the garden and playing with her crinkle ball. The vet said it was alright to take her to the wood as long as she didn't go too crazy, so we've done that a couple of times. She's been really good about taking her medicine. We have an appointment on Monday with a cardiologist. I'm hoping that he can give us some more insight into her life expectancy, as well as make sure she's on the right medicines. My regular vet had to Google whether one of them could be crushed so as much as I love them, it's clear they're a bit out of their depth lol.
