I’ve had cats my whole life, but not since I rescued my dog 3yrs ago. I’ve researched many cat breeds to find a good fit for my hyper, playful, cuddle bug Ahana. I’ve never gotten a cat with my dog around as there were always other dogs around, but my roommate and her husky have moved out and my girl is so sad. I think now is the time to bring a cat home for her (and me of course!) With all my research I believe a Bengal or Abyssinian would fit the best; but I’m leaning more towards a Bengal because they are larger.
How did you all go about getting your bengals? I’m in the US and have found only a few breeders. I want to make sure I purchase my cat from a good, humane breeder. For those in the US- can you recommend someone that you trust? For everyone else- what are some red flags to look out for when looking at breeders? Also any tips for having bengals a dog are welcome!
