Please keep Misty in your thoughts.
Post Body

I labeled this as help because it seemed like the best fit. I'm away from home until tomorrow dealing with some family stuff. I just got a call from my mum saying that she's had to rush Misty to the vet. Out of nowhere she started struggling to breathe, was drooling, and extremely agitated. She's in an oxygen tent at the vet and her breathing has improved slightly. They're transferring her to their bigger hospital in their pet ambulance. At this point they don't know what's wrong. They felt Misty was too agitated to tolerate any tests, but they're hoping to get an IV in her within the next 20 minutes and give her an x-ray.

She's only a year old and is really healthy. I got her from a reputable breeder and saw all the health tests of parents/grandparents/etc. The fact that it came on so suddenly makes me think she ate something she shouldn't or maybe choked. I really hope this isn't the case but we've been having some problems with the neighbours, I wouldn't put it past them to have thrown some kind of poison over the fence. She goes out in the garden under supervision but I know all it takes is looking away for a second.

Please keep her in your thoughts. I've had a year filled with some significant losses and I'm not sure if I can handle another.
