Help with cat showing!
Post Body

Was wondering if anyone had any advice for showing? I entered my bengal kitten (5 months old) in her first cat show and she loved being pet my strangers whilst in the sturdi. She’s a confident cat and we do adventures every day, go to coffee shops, to uni and she lets anyone stroke or handle her.

However at the show as soon as she was on the judging table she wasn’t keen on judges handling her (she hissed at them a lot) and she was upset by nearby cats. This is odd tho as she loves her brother and bonded with him right away.

She scored very highly at the show and judges were very impressed with her type. She also wasn’t aggressive in the slightest. I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for helping her with this? I don’t want to make her uncomfortable so won’t force her into this again if she’s really not vibing with it! Just wondering if this is smth we could work on or if we should give up on the whole showing business😂😻
