I am looking into getting my very own bengal kitten and I have a couple of questions…
The breeder is having her spayed and getting her final shots in the next month and she will be ready to go mid October (12 weeks old). My questions revolve around how to introduce her to my dogs. I have 3 dogs, a Doberman, mix breed (60 lbs), and a maltipoo. All three are great dogs, the Doberman loves baby animals but she can be a little intense when she gets excited. The other too are super relaxed. I want to make sure that I am bringing the kitten into the right situation the right way. The kitten has not been raised with dogs so I’m afraid that at 12 weeks old and never having seen one she won’t adapt well to it… honestly I just want to know if it would be worth waiting for a kitten that has been raised around dogs or if people generally have success with introductions? And how do you introduce them? What is the process like to make sure the kitten is comfortable and confident in the home?
Sorry for the length, any advice is appreciated ❤️
