I can’t get enough reality TV lately, and am seeing some similarities between the two shows:
* scenic destinations. This show is set a pop up hotel in the French countryside
* guests celebrating a milestone with specific, maybe over the top, event requests. So far there’s been an engagement, bachelorette party and rebirth ball.
* They all worry about impressing Lisa, so maybe she’s the Captain!
* most importantly, focus on staff drama. There isn’t as much attention to the hospitality functions of the chateau, but it’s a similar format of a group of dramatic people working, living and partying together. I’m seeing a preview of drama between the manager and chef, which should be good!
