Post Body
Hi Everyone,
I set up a router as a wiregaurd server. My router is connecting to the bell main router using PPPOE.
- It seems to be working without port forwarding rules for some odd reason? Any idea why? My clients are connecting to the public IP of the router or DNS.
- I'm travelling abroad and I'm worried at some point bell could block that port so I was trying to set up port forwarding but I cannot even view the PPPOe connection in my devices to view the local IP of the second router in the bell router admin page. I did play around with configurations before and It used to show up on my devices but now I cannot see it there which means I can't view the IP set by bell. I seem to only have access to view the public IP on my router admin page. I can see my other devices however.
Is port forwarding even required? I was able to set a rule for my public ip which I removed because it will probably change at some point (I think?)
