With all the choices the politicians have to make and with all the political debates we are having concerning things we, the people, are affected by (in many cases very much!). I was wondering why we don't have referenda to ask the people. It goes with the "power to the people"-vibe and the "direct democracy" many people seem so fond about.
So my question(s): Why don't we have Referenda. Can or can't we introduce them? If we had it, what would we use it for (e.g. nuclear yes or no? "salariswagens" yes or no?)
