Hi! I am going to need an asbestos certificate for my parents' house. My mom passed away and now my dad is looking to donate part of it to me. So even for something like that, an asbestos certificate is needed which is absolutely ridiculous.

The house was built in 1999/2000. My dad has a ton of pictures he took when they were building it and obviously knows there is no asbestos in it.

Do you know if they will need to drill in walls for samples?

Also can you recommend a company that does it? I have checked online and the reviews go from fairly good to plain awful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's been almost a year since my mom passed away and I am close to a nervous breakdown when it comes to paperwork. 😭
