Does anyone else feel that Vy did more damage to Will by keeping his father away from him than telling him the truth? I think itâs real messed up that Vy manipulated the truth about Lou to Will to make herself look like the strong black single mother. When in reality Lou said it himself. Phil was getting rich. Vy was envious of Vivian and Philâs money, and she put pressure on Lou to go out and hustle harder. And then when Lou goes to jail, she just cut him off and then tells Will âYour daddy abandoned youâ. Like why do scorned mothers do this to their kid? It wouldnât have been so bad to eventually tell Will his father was in jail. Also I donât agree with how disrespectful Will got with Lou, when Lou was just keepin it đŻ. Now granted Vy canât be held totally responsible for Louâs actions but she played a major role in him going to jail. What yâall think?
