So I have a small theory about the end of episode 9. I'm not talking about the scenes depending on the branch you are on but what about Derek finds in his room and more specifically I think the blackout is connected.

So at the end of the episode, Derek finds what seems to be a camera or some type of surveillance device in his room. The person or group that put this here decides Halloween would be the perfect time to sneak in and get it because Halloween everyone is going to be dressed up and it would be easier to blend in, and at the beginning of the episode both Rusty and Tommy said party crashers and uninvited guest are bound to show up, so Halloween is the prefect chance to sneak in and get that device. Unfortunately for this person or group something didn't fit into their plan, Derek's Bar The Moose which is new to the mansion and which was stated on Rooster he was going to have open all night and throughout the night there were always people in there whenever you had the chance to visit it. This is where the blackout comes into play.

The blackout, as pointed out by the MC, Sage and Tommy, was not planned by any of them and I believe someone purposefully turned the lights off. Why? Well to get to Derek's room and get their device without being spotted easily. On our way to the basement to turn on the lights you can hear someone running away to possibly hide from the MC who was on his way to investigate and unfortunately for that person we were faster then them to get the lights back on before they can the device. This then caused a flaw in there system, the device loosing connection to whatever it was connected to causing the red light to start flashing which causes Derek to find it. (Or maybe it was low on battery to begin with which caused the red light to flash and that's why they were trying to get it?)

But who/what group would want to spy on the DIKs? I know everyone likes to point at Nick as a traitor but I personally don't see it. He was there when turning the light back on as seen in the photo below (the clown costume) and plus he is too obvious and DPC is smarter then that, Look at Acting Lessons (spoilers for Acting Lessons) The twist villain of that game is the nurse Leah when the obvious choice for the villain and the person who started the fire that ends up killing either Megan or Melissa is Melissa's stepdad, Peter but it is shown it wasn't him but Leah and I didn't see that coming and I'm sure many people didn't either Nick is too obvious. Yes his room wasn't destroyed along with the rest of the mansion but he just got lucky, if I was Nick and if I was a traitor I would make sure my room gets destroyed as well to not have me look more suspicious. Yes he was in the library where Rusty found the laptop after the Cathy Cluck incident but Rusty found the laptop in the library already and why would Nick go back to find it where he dumped it there in the first place. Vinny? No Vinny wasn't at the party yet and he wasn't exactly sneaking around either. He straight up talks to Quinn and is pretty out in the open with actions.

The Alphas? No they weren't around for this, there were being distracted by Arieth and I honestly don't think any of them are this smart to pull something like this off. Also look back at episode 3 where Chad shows Dawe the pictures of the DIK's having sex with Arieth, they didn't know the Camera was there and I believe the camera that captured this is the same device that Derek finds, the angles match. And let's not forget Chad also had an envelope that was addressed to him and we still don't know what was in it. Possibly something that had to do with him and Troy. So yeah, the Alphas don't know about the camera

The Nerds? Maybe but why? I honestly don't know what their motive would be.

I don't know who put this camera there but I grantee it is the same person/group who gave the Alphas those pictures and sent Stephen Burke the video of the MC and Jade having sex and if my Cathy cluck theory is wrong they are also possibly responsible for that as well. I am curious to see what you guys think.
