Has anyone built a terrarium specifically for begonias like b. sp. Sarawak, b. Pavonina, or any of the b. Botanicaz collection? If so, what is your set up? Size? Lights? Light levels? Fans? Humidifiers? Soil?
I have a 10 gallon fish tank that I’d like to turn into a terrarium for my iridescent/shimmery/jewel tone/high humidity begonias. I’ve read that low light helps get them to be more blue/purple/iridescent and that’s what I’d like for them. However, I don’t want to go too low with the light out of fear of killing them or stunting growth.
My cane begonias grow in an IKEA cabinet with high light, usb fans, and humidity that hovers between 68% - 85%. They are thriving, but I have a lot less experience with other begonia types, so I’m looking for advice from people who are growing them.
Thanks in advance!
