Update#32: First ever 10k event has been run, and is a success!!

I did it! And i can't believe I did.
I participated in the Beaverton half marathon (that also had 5k, 10k) and ran the 10k. Finished in about 63 mins, same timing as my last practice run, last week.
Knees were cramping up a bit around the 4-5 mile mark, but I kept pushing through. I feel like I actually ran a bit faster in the last 1 mile or so, most likely due to adrenaline 😂
Now off to some rest day, and planning to sign up for another 10k next weekend!
