Here's how I did in August. I feel like I met/exceeded my goals for the month.
I started running mid-June, and super excited with all the progress I have made so far. Thanks in large part to this community of beginner runners for the encouragement and motivation.
My big goal in September is to participate in my first ever 10k event, and finish (without stopping) it. I have already done couple of practice 8k runs & 1 practice 10k run in August, so i feel fairly confident. I am hoping to get atleast 2 more 10k practice runs under my belt before the event on the 14th.
To everyone who is running or wants to run, great job! Keep doing what you do 😊
