Followed up my 8k yesterday, with an easy run today, knowing that I probably wouldnt be able to run for next couple of days.
My go to easy run is the one on NRC app by Coach Jes. This was also my very first guided run ever, about 2 months ago, that got me to feel super accomplished, and hooked onto running!
Over the weeks, I have always gone back to this guided run when I want to do a short run, and today was no different. And I have found that my "easy run" speed/pace has significantly improved. About 11-12 mile/min (on average) feels quite easy & normal to me now, compared to the 16-18 mile/min when I started couple of months ago.
Today I went a little faster (unintentionally) than I would have wanted for the easy run, but I feel great!
