Post Body

And now I finished my first ever timed 10k.

I've run before. Running is my main way of having tried to get in the shape back when I was much younger and lighter than I am now. But turns out, shocker, I was running wrong the whole time. Yay me!

Well fast forward a buncha years and pounds later and during the midpart of last year I decided to listen to MJ and start with the man in the mirror. I hadta make a change. I tried to jump right back into running like I used to. Clearly a mistake. It hurt. I pulled things. My dumbass never stretched or ate right or nothin.

I changed that to. I started slowly, still feel like I should be doing more, but I know that I'll keep slowly changing stuff til I get there eventually.

Everyone here keep it the fuck up! We're all on our own journey but today I ran alongside others like you and it felt like a dream. The medal means a lot more than it should, but only you know how much work you put into this.

Keep running. I believe in you.
