Building momentum and maintaining it

I do this. I pick up nice good habits. Create nice routines. Not just with the gym or exercise. Sometimes it's with keeping the house clean or staying organised.
Eventually all hell breaks loose. Life goes into disarray.
I've learnt only one thing, eventually it all comes to an end and I go back to my same unenlightened ways.
