Hey everyone,
For context I’m 28 year old female. I’m 5’10 260 pounds. For starters, I want to say that me getting back into the gym isn’t focusing on lose weight. I simply want to be healthy and more active. I’ve begun to make lifestyles changes at home. Not eating out as much, adding more fruits, veggies, supplements, and water to my diet. I started at my local VASA fitness this week, and I love it so far. Everyday when I leave the gym, I feel so proud of myself and energized. I’ve been doing the treadmill on an incline and then I finish off with 5-10 mins on the stair master. I do want to incorporate weights into my routine, does anyone have any suggestions on machines to start with?
I can’t stress enough that I love my body the way it is. I have a little pudge, hips and my butt is on the bigger side. I do want back, arms and mid section to be my focus. But I’m also aware that I can’t just lose weight in one area. Which is why I’m more focused on getting healthy and back active, than I am on focusing on the scale.
Sorry for ranting. If you have any advice about diet and or exercise, I’ll take it! Thanks 🤍
