So I had my Monese account lying dormant, after getting the first referral reward and it was bugging me knowing that I had to spend over £500 on the account to get the second part of the reward.

This got me thinking about how I can increase the speed at which I get it. I started to read in other threads that you used to be able to send money yourself via Revolut or Paypal, but Monese no longer rewards the money for this. Instead, you can simply ask for cashback on top of your normal purchase to increase your spending each time you use the card. I believe in most places, the maximum amount of cashback is £50 so it will still take a little longer than Paypal or Revolut, but will certainly decrease the amount of time you have to wait to get the reward. This should also work for any other services that need you to spend 'X' amount before rewarding you.

The bonus to this method instead of other viable methods like topping up with Amazon vouchers is that you still get to keep the money to do whatever you want.
