A tab will occasionally auto-open in the background, at your set-interval time: don't panic, this is just Distill checking the page for you. Wait for a study to become available! You'll get the audio-alert when there is one. 10. [IMPORTANT] Answer studies truthfully when you take them: rushing through will hurt your score and future study-options!

Don't be an ass: be honest! Prolific isn't some two-bit survey e-company! 11. Enjoy your earnings!

My current Prolific balance (innacurate atm: I cashed out £7.25 last night): http://imgur.com/x13cWor Note: sometimes you might get false-positives: these can be annoying, but they're from studies that either have had a place open but was quickly (and in a second or two) snapped up by someone else, or had you screened out the moment it went up, so it vanished in microseconds. Sometimes, you get a large study that constantly alerts when a person takes one place out of, say, 400. You'll just have to grimace and bear it, I'm afraid. Despite these annoyances, the rewards far outweigh them!
