Can you use the same number for confirmation codes on Bing Rewards for multiple accounts?

With the recent changes to Bing Rewards, I've read that a couple people have used the same number for 2-3 accounts with success, but I've also read people saying that we should use one phone number per account to avoid a ban.
Can anyone provide some insight on this? Thanks!
