Her step dad was helping out around our house doing electrical and she was going to the basement with him and he'd had a few Sam Adams which we'd run out of. I told her to grab him a homebrew stout from the basement fridge where I was keeping the Hopslam pushed back and out of sight, or so I thought. She came back up and said "I gave him one of the Hopslams". I froze. It was an untouched six pack I was saving for Spring. I love the guy so it's not a hugs loss but he would've been happy with anything cold, wet and beer, and didn't really appreciate it. When my buddy told him it was one of the most sought out beers in the nation. He said "wow, it's pretty good". When I told my wife there are people selling it on Craigslist for $45/six pack, she looked a bit shocked. Like I said, just wanted to vent with my beerethren.
