I use to enjoy IPA's like 30 years ago when I first started to get into craft beers. Now, they are freaking everywhere. I go to my local purveyor of sudsy beverages hoping to find something new and interesting, and all I find are 20 different different IPA's (and the assortment of American piss beers, plus some Corona's to satisfy the import beer crowd). And the hop content is WAY OUT THERE. Bitter, nasty and gut curdling. Come on, put some Flemish Sours, or even some Sam Smith Pale or Oatmeal Stout out. I know that they're trendy and the shop owners are just following the money, but the only reason why the beer was invented was because it was the only way to ship beer to India without spoiling. Why are we listening to trendy assholes (the people that killed Brooklyn and Portland)? That shit is nasty.
No more!!!
p.s. What the hell is an NEIPA? New England IPA? How in the hell is that a thing? Seriously. And also, adding grapefruit or blood orange doesn't make it any better. Bitter bitter = nasty
