Where are all the pumpkin beers this year?

Living in Chicago, and I'm seeing way fewer pumpkin beers this year than in years past. In fact, out of the six different grocery / liquor stores I've stopped at in the last few weeks, none of them stocked even a single variety of pumpkin beer.
What's going on? Are they out of style? Is this just a weird coincidence? Or perhaps it's already too late in the season, and I should've been looking for some back in August?
