Will the jailbreak method posted work on iPhone 6?

I've been trying to get this to work with my iPhone 6 (using a lightning-usb C cable through a few adapters). The terminal just gives me the following error.

Use another cable other than a Type-C to Lightning. Better if you can use a Type-Ato Lightning, or if you have an adapter of some sorts (Type-C to Type-A)
